Homemade Coconut Oil Deodorant

Coconut Oil - DIY DeoderantLadies, Protect your Ta-Tas!

I stopped using conventional deodorants years ago and recently began making my own from scratch with only a few ingredients you probably already have stashed in your pantry. Have you ever wondered why there are SO many deodorants on the market these days? When is the last time you walked down the deodorant aisle and looked around at all the different brands, gimmicks, and chemicals lining the shelves? If you do not want to make your own, I strongly urge you to look for a completely natural deodorant free from parabens, aluminum, propylene glycol and phthalates.

  • 1/3 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1/3 cup Arrowroot Powder
  • 2T. Baking Soda
  • 10 drops Essential Oil

Gently mash ingredients together with a fork or back of a spoon. Experiment with different scents/oils. Currently, I use a lavender sage blend and it is hands down my favorite!

*Unrefined coconut oil will infuse a coconut smell while refined will not
